QuickBooks Setup

Evaluate your software and accounting needs to determine the version of QuickBooks that would best suit your business needs.

Install the software, set up a chart of accounts, and additional modules as needed (payroll, accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, etc.).

Load your chart of account and beginning account balances.

Verify your bank balances, outstanding checks, and deposits in transit as of your starting date.

Print a trial balance as of your starting date and reconcile it to the trial balance from your old system

Enter your transactions since your starting date into QuickBooks.

Train client or client staff in the use of software to meet accounting, management, and tax needs.

Follow-up training as needed.

Monthly, quarterly or annual review of client QuickBooks data to assist in management reporting and tax preparation.
